Kaj Tu Salas, the second Maxi-Single „spin off“ from the current !DelaDap album „Sara La Kali“ comes with a quite unique mixture of a bouncing, still driving beat, an ace violine-hookline and some very special vocals by !DelaDap studio voice Melinda Stoika who puts a huge load of soul into the verses that are a magical blend of singing and rapping. The song – the title might be translated with „where were you“ – tells the story of the Roma’s long way from India through all parts of Europe, where they spread their music.

The new edition of !DelaDap T-Shirts arrived and is now available at our online-shop and at all !DelaDap live concerts. The new selection includes a women design in black and in white and one for men in black.

Just in time for a great start into 2009 the brand new !DelaDap webiste is now online!

Just like both of it’s predecessors the third album of !DelaDap, „Sara la Kali“, has been nominated for the German critics award, „Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik“. Thinking of the „Oscars“, where thrid-time nominees normally are a good bet, we are looking forward to the jury’s judgement early January. Keep your fingers crossed!

World politics showed an direct impact even on a bands touring plan, when the long awaited first club-shows in one of Athens’ nicest clubs, the Gazarte, had to be cancelled only four days before take-off due to the insecure situation on the streets of Athens. In fact, the club was being surrounded by stone-throwing demonstants and had to be under spezial protection by police for several days. So beside the sadness of not going to Greece this year anymore, the band was still happy not to be in the midst of all that mess. The club-show will most likely now take place in January at Club Gazarte.
